Surely everyone likes to dine alfresco? Feeling the cool breeze on your face, watching the birds fluttering in the distance and heaping tasty food into your mouth with your hands. Brilliant.
Alfresco dining doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be surrounded by sandwiches and pork pies, however. For me, the best thing about al fresco dining is being outdoors with great company and delicious food. What makes it even better is if we’ve all got stuck in to prepare the spread together.
Food is so much more enjoyable when it’s made together and eaten together. Why not invite your friends over for a cook-off before you head out, and encourage your kids to roll up their sleeves to join in too?
