Using Pomegranate Seeds (Anardana) in Indian Cooking
These are the sun-dried seeds of the pomegranate fruit that are crushed and give a tangy sourness.
This is used as a flavouring for dishes to add that sweet and sour tang that the Indian pallet loves. It is used in particular for street food and snacks where it's sprinkled over chaat dishes, in kebabs and a variety of other snacks.
