You can flavour yoghurt with pretty much anything so if you like mustard you are going to love this. I like to serve this as a sauce with fish dishes but it's also really nice just as a dip.
- Ingredients
- Method
- 300g Greek yogurt
- splash of milk
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp mustard oil or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 red chilli, finely chopped
Method
- Put the yogurt in a bowl and pour it a little milk to loosen it and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small frying-pan, heat the oil over a medium flame and add the mustard and cumin seeds. When they become fragrant, add the garlic and let it sizzle. Ensure it doesn't brown.
- Pour all the contents of the pan into the yogurt and stir in the ginger and chilli.
