Cooking With Kids
Cooking with kids is a great way to spend the day together. I love to cook with my kids; it gives us the time together that we might otherwise miss out on due to both of our busy schedules. But what’s more is that they get the opportunity to learn about healthy eating and how to prepare simple and flavourful dishes.
I learnt to cook from my mum by helping her out in the kitchen when I was little (though sometimes I’m not sure how much of a help I was!). Her passion for cooking was definitely passed down to me and I want to be able to pass it onto my children.
It can be messy (especially if you have young children!), but cooking with your kids can be so rewarding. Why not try making some Tikka (potato cakes) or have a go at baking some fluffy Naans and some colourful chutneys dip them in?
So, get the aprons out, clear your schedule and roll up your sleeves to start cooking with kids!
