Dishes with an Indian Twist
Nowadays the world is more connected than ever before and one of the best things about our newfound closeness is that cuisines from every corner of the globe are fusing, taking inspiration from each other.
This isn’t a new thing, of course. Cuisines have been taking inspiration from each other since…well, forever. Take the Massaman, for example - a Thai curry that fuses fragrant lemongrass and kaffir lime (often found in Thai recipes), with more pungent Indian spices like cardamom and cumin. It’s one of the first examples of Indian fusion cooking.
Indian food is one of those cuisines that’s reached every corner of the globe - from the stormy shores of Singapore to backstreet Balti houses in Birmingham. It’s no wonder really, as it’s one of the most amazing cuisines in the world…OK, so admittedly, I’m a little biased.
As Indian food reaches more and more countries, unique and delicious dishes continue to spring up. I personally can’t wait to see what the future holds for Indian fusion cooking. Check out my Indian fusion recipes below.
